My name is Jeanne and I live in Pennsylvania. I have a daughter who lives in Florida with her family (her husband & my two grandsons), a 17 year old daughter and a 15 year old son.
In 2003 I met and married the love of my life, Rick. He is my soulmate and my best friend.
In January 2008 I decided to come home and open a home daycare. I am currently taking classes at Penn Foster College to acquire my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and love it.
Being a home daycare provider can prove to be quite a challenge to the mind and heart sometimes and having someone to lean on and talk to is very important. Originally I wanted to create a support group right here where I live but found CCVillage.net a much easier and I think friendlier route to go. Everyone here at CCVillage is absolutely wonderful including it's founder Ruth Breslin!
I started a group called Tiny Tots Tips & Tricks and we meet in the CCVillage chatroom every Monday night from 9pm to 10pm Eastern Standard time. We talk about various topics that are associated with being a daycare provider. I also post "minutes" of the meeting the following day on a blog in case some were unable to make it. Please join us!

I want to thank all of you who prayed for me while I was dealing with the loss of one of "my kids". Today is his first day back thanks to my husband giving "mom" a job. Her new job also allows her more time with Kale so it is working out for everyone involved!
Very nice fall page. Maybe you and the parents can get the team over,for pizza or something and give them a pep talk. I've seen this too and my son gets upset too. He then gives the team a pep talk. He's a motavtior.
