Embracing Change
With the economy changing, we have to embrace it. What do you we do when there is a change in our life, or what should we do? My numbers are down to almost none. Children are not coming who suppose to be here. Work is limited for my husband. I’m saved; I give my tithes and offerings. I believe Gods word: He will supply my needs! He is my Sheppard, I shall not want: I’ve asked forgiveness. What is going on! They say there is a need for child care, okay where are the children. I’m waiting on you Lord! Oh, a family member dies, is this how you’re going to bless. (Yes this happens). WHAT IN THE WORLD!! AND THE GAS! My devotional today was about Embracing Change! When something’s change, there’s no need in becoming undone because change is supposed to happen. In fact change always occurs for our benefit. There are some comfortable areas in our lives where if change didn’t come we’d still be stuck in those things until Jesus returns. Sometimes the Lord is urging us to change certain area in our lives. Do you know that you’ll never know what is in you until you’re pressed out? Can you stand the pressure? Will you change for the better? This morning write down the things that you need to change. Be honest with yourself. We are Gods anointed. He protects, His anointed; He takes care of His anointed; He brings His anointed out. This is a different day. You’re not going to be distressed or depressed, overwhelmed or over taken. You will not be fearful or frustrated, worn out or weary. We can’t keep thinking about what we could of, should of, and would of. The Lord will give us the strength to embrace change. The Lord has blessed us with everything we need. Our dreams and goals are from Him. Allow the Lord’s kingdom to come, His will to be done. With the changes of the world, and in our lives we need to embrace Him more. Let His word come alive in our spirit. Ask Him to help us embrace these changes like never before. Let’s not get caught outside of Gods special grace. We need to bind up fear, and loose our faith today. Give God praise. He is our protection, our leader and our guide. He is the Truth. Embrace change today in Jesus name! I hope that you can grab some of the points in this blog. Feeling the pressures of life this devotional helped me. Whatever place you’re in, there is change to be learned. We do need to embrace it, change our way to the way God has for us. His word is our path way. We can’t just sit and wait, we have to do something! Give Him glory!

Father in heaven, I praise your glorious name! I praise you for how awesome you are and thank you for loving a sinner like me! Father, I pray that our faith be strengthened. I pray for all who are going through trials right now. I pray for peace to be showered upon them, Lord. I pray that we would learn to embrace change, Lord and not be afraid. You said that you would always be with us, and I believe that. Lord, let us remember that you will never close a door and not open another, it is up to us to look and walk through that door. Father, may we all strive to seek You and to follow Your will in everything. You said you will supply all of our needs if we believe. Father, I pray for those that have lost loved ones, those who are lonely and in need of comfort, and those who are financially hurting. I pray for our nation's leaders now and our future leaders. Help our country, oh Lord. Let us truly be a nation that can say In God We Trust! Help us to let Your light shine in even the toughest of situations. Thank you Lord, for all you have done and all you will do. In Christ's wonderful and miraculous name I pray, Amen.

Your devotion reminded me of a sermon our pastor gave a few weeks ago...kind of along the same lines. I went and pulled out my notes: In times of disaster, have faith, not fear......dial 9-1-1 (notice most of the verse numbers)
Matthew 14:26-31 shows us through Peter's example that fear undermines faith. We should discipline ourselves to not let fear rule (2 Timothy 1:7).
In times of fear we should Pray, not panic (Psalm 91:1, 2Corinthians 9:11)
When faith frustrates you, Believe God, don't blame Him (Ecclesiastes 9:11, Daniel 9:11, Deuteronomy 9:11-12).
Respond to needs, don't run away from them...Jesus went where the need was (Matthew 9:11, Luke 9:11, Psalm 9:11).
Be Assured, not angry. God does the right thing, and He doesn't make mistakes. God hates the sin but LOVES the sinner...we can be angry without sinning. God will finish the good works He began. (Hebrews 9:11-12, Philippians 1:6).
May you receive a blessing from this...Joyce

Remeber that the only thing consistant in life is change. Keeping faith in God who is our strength is the only way to overcome the obsticles we face in our everyday lives. Remember faith is the eveidence of things hoped for not the evidence of things we see. Fiath cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. It is the word of God that we are to lean and depend on in our times of trouble. God says to us today "cast our cares on Him because He cares for us." I recall a long time ago someone saying 'it doesn't make sense for me and God to walk the floor a night, so lay down and go to sleep because He got it all under control." M advice to all is to let God do it! If we're going to pray then don't worry and if we're going to worry don't pray because worry is a SIN! Be ENCOURAGED :)712486

there has been a lot of changes in my job situation. with all of these changes it is hard for me to decide whither to carry on with my plans to open my own home care. the job, gas prices and food and medical costs is putting my household at a strain. i know that God is there and in the mist of it all and i am leaning and depending on Him to let me know the direction to go. i know this is not a decision we (my husband and I) can make on out own. I will also try harder to check in and have more input into the group. I know that God Cares. :-)
