1. Now that school has started, have you started your preschool curriculum?
2. How will share God’s love with your children?
3. Will you use a bible based curriculum?

Hi Phyllis,
Because Louisiana has become so diverse and we teach children of all races, nationalities, and religions, I do not use a bible based curriculum but I do teach them about God's Love through my actions and we have songs that we sing like "This Litttle Light of Mine" and "Daniel's In the Lions Den". I feel that showing love is God's way of life. He said that the greatest gift of all is LOVE!

I also have not used a Bible based curriculum...I try to include little things all the time. I like to sing "Jesus loves me" substituting their name for "me" in the song. The best time, I've found is one on one...especially while changing a diaper, or coloring. They get the BIGGEST smile on their face and almost always say "again...again". We read bible stories out of the children's bible a few times a week. I'd love some more ideas!

use a bible based curriculum.
This way they can share their work and what they learned about God with their parents. Sometimes what we teach is all they’ll learn about God, by sending work home, we’ll have witness twice. Holiday’s are all Christian based, with art activities. During Christmas we did a Christmas tree project I purchased from Cta,inc it included a bible lesson about Christmas and a 4 part activity, they loved it. This is harvest time, lets plant seeds not only in the children but the parents. We all can show love, but we need to be a witness to all. Most of my children didn’t go to church. My afterschool children learned the 23 Psalm, and the 10 commandments’. We also pray before circle time, for our families. I let each child pray and sometimes I’ll think their finished and they’ll say wait, I forgot to pray for somebody else. It gets better every time. There so cute to. I do Funshine express Christian curriculum, I’ve also used Danielle’s place they have great bible lessons too.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. This is ministry! God first!

I use God first everyday! During the morning I am playing gospel music, so now when the children come in the door they act like they got the holy ghost with a dance in their feet.
