I was able to get pocket charts for $1 each. Target has a dollar bar and right now has teacher supplies. This year they have included the charts. I found 3 colors, green, blue and red. They are a really good size, about 16"x26". They do take the smaller size strips2-2 1/2 inch, but hey, for a buck, I'll manage! They also have lesson plan books, stickers, etc.

Also, Dollar Tree has teacher supplies year round, but right now they have a BIG selection. Die cuts, certificates and awards, borders, calendars and seasonal numbers, posters, workbooks, you name it!

Has anyone else stumbled across any "teaching cheap" ideas that you'd like to share?

freeabcschool.com and childcareland.com have a lot of stuff you can print off for learning centers, circle time, etc. Suggest laminating up front to save $$ (and time) in the long run of reproducing items.
