A loved one has just been diagnosed with cancer. I would really appreciate the group's prayers for her recovery.

Father, You never promised us that there would be no suffering, no illness, no pain. But, at this time, Lord, I pray that you will comfort her and heal her. Father, I ask that you draw her and the family nearer to You. You are the great physician. Lord, I ask for the power that only You have, the healing power. Father, I ask for complete healing, for no spread, and for a fast recovery. Father, I pray that there are no other complications that will hinder surgery or healing. You are still in the miracle business. We ask for one now. Guide the medical staff in the course of treatment and the entire family when it comes to making decisions. Give Ruth and the rest of the family the calmness and the emotional strength they need. I pray that Your will be done. I ask all of this in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Thank you, ladies! Actually, it's my mother that is sick. She is scheduled for surgery on March 23rd.
