This is a great reminder of WHO we should pray for. Look at your hand. Your thmb is close to your heart. Pray for those who are closest to you, your family, your friends, your community, your church family, etc. Your index finger points the way...pray for those who point you in the right direction, teachers, pastors, etc. Your middle finger is the tallest finger. Pray for those who are in power. Pray for our government, military, police, etc. Your ring finger is the weakest finger on your hand. Remember to pray for the weak, needy, sick, homeless, etc. Pray for your children. Lastly, your pinky finger is the smallest finger on your hand. Let this be a small reminder to pray for yourself. At times, we all falter, we all fail, we all feel weak, we all feel upset, disappointed, or lonely. Pray for your relationship with God as well.

This was a lesson that I did in children's church a while back. The kids really learned a lot from it. I pray that you will take it to heart and will pass the lesson on. ~~Joyce
