One of the things that I like doing is to use the templates from file folder games...I have the kids cut and paste them on plain construction paper. Then, I send the matching peices home in an envelope for the family to "play" at home. Of course, when you call it a "game" the kids bug their parents until they play with them. The parents are usually impressed with the kids being able to complete the game with little help.
