I took a few snapshots of the environment. I have chosen to keep it cozy and home-like. I think that might be one of the reasons why I have so many 1st timers come through. Outside, there is plenty of room to play, run, jump, and burn up some of that energy! I have different size slides, play equipment, balls, swings, cars, jump ropes and hoops, blocks, dishes, etc.
Block play, counting, cooking, cleaning, singing, listening, art, dramatic play, flannel boards, ABC's, sorting, matching, science...you name it, it happens.
Impromptu Water Day
Updated 8 month(s) ago
This morning, while playing out side and watering plants, the kids started getting a little wet and I decided to have everyone take off their shoes and wet them all down w/ the hose. I then put the sprinkler out (first on the ground, then hanging in the tree). This was the result. THEY HAD A BLAST!! Notice, I do have one who doesn't like water so, she stays away as much as possible. Man! I LOVE having flexibility w/ my schedule and activities

July 10th we had a teddy bear picnic. All the kids brought in some fruit and we made a big fruit salad. It was YUMMY! We shared it and had a picnic with our teddy bears...and our teddy bear ears..........................
Fall is quickly approaching. Although we live in an area where it's green about 9 months out of the year, we've started doing our fall themes.
Just pics of the kids engaged in everyday activities! These are pics that we've taken in Sept/Oct/Nov.
We are observing how our tree on the playground changes as it gets further into FALL!
one of the kids has an appointment this afternoon for her immunizations. We were talking about going to the doctor and why we get those shots. The kids took the lead on this one and I followed along (with my camera of course!)
In honor of our first real cold snap, we celebrated with a great day in our PJ's! We played games, had hot cocoa, did sensory activities, sang, and had popcorn and a movie!
